Lantern Lore is a magazine concept that explores folklore and cryptid culture through immersive editorial design. Inspired by vintage field journals, the project combines illustration, typography, and storytelling to create a cohesive publication that feels both nostalgic and adventurous.
The layouts were designed to evoke the feeling of exploring a vintage field journal, combining structured editorial design with rich illustrations and folklore-inspired details. Varied image scales, pull quotes, and field notes guide the reader through each story while maintaining a sense of discovery.
